Ms. P’s take: A legendary slasher with a twist that helped make horror history.
2. Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)

The legend of Jason Voorhees grows darker as counselors near Crystal Lake become his next targets. This time, the killer himself is on the hunt, wearing that infamous sack over his head.
Ms. P’s take: Jason is stepping into the spotlight, and the body count is rising!
3. Friday the 13th Part III (1982)
🌶️🌶️🌶️ Habanero
Jason terrorizes another group of young people, but this time he finds the hockey mask that will become his signature look. Crystal Lake has officially found its most recognizable nightmare.
Ms. P’s take: That mask reveal is iconic! Jason’s look becomes horror royalty.
4. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)

Believed to be dead, Jason returns to terrorize the area near Crystal Lake. The Jarvis family becomes caught in his murderous rampage, and young Tommy Jarvis emerges as a key figure in the franchise.
Ms. P’s take: Brutal, suspenseful, and one of the strongest classic Jason entries!
5. Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

Tommy Jarvis is older and trying to rebuild his life when a new series of murders begins at a halfway house. But is Jason really back, or is somebody else continuing his legacy?
Ms. P’s take: A different kind of mystery, but fans may have mixed feelings about this one.
6. Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986)

Tommy Jarvis attempts to make sure Jason stays dead, but an accidental resurrection unleashes an unstoppable, undead killing machine. The camp is in danger again!
Ms. P’s take: Dark humor, action, and a classic undead Jason. This one brings the heat!
7. Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)

A young woman with telekinetic abilities accidentally releases Jason from his watery prison. Now she must use her powers to survive a battle against the unstoppable killer.
Ms. P’s take: Jason versus psychic powers? That’s a showdown worth watching!
8. Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)
🌶️🌶️ Jalapeño
A school cruise turns into a floating nightmare when Jason boards the ship. The survivors eventually reach New York City, where the killer proves that escaping the lake doesn’t mean escaping him.
Ms. P’s take: An entertaining change of scenery, although the Manhattan promise takes time to deliver.
9. Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993)

Jason faces a deadly trap, but death doesn’t end his evil. A bizarre supernatural twist allows his spirit to move between bodies, creating a different kind of nightmare.

Ms. P’s take: Jason in space? It’s ridiculous, bloody, and gloriously over the top!
11. Freddy vs. Jason (2003)

Freddy Krueger manipulates events to bring Jason back into the killing business, but his plan spirals out of control. Two horror icons collide in a brutal battle to determine who rules the nightmare.
Ms. P’s take: Two legends, one battlefield, and a whole lot of horror-fan satisfaction!
12. Friday the 13th (2009)

A group of young people searching for a missing woman crosses paths with a faster, more aggressive Jason. This reboot brings a modern edge to the familiar Crystal Lake nightmare.
Ms. P’s take: Meaner Jason, intense kills, and a modern slasher vibe. Don’t come to Crystal Lake unprepared!
